biography
The Deep Blue masterfully fuse rebellious lyrics with hypnotically beautiful harmonies, captivating their audiences. Bursting onto the scene in May 2021, their debut EP resulted in key indie press such as DORK clambering to get the inside scoop on Manchester’s hottest new band.
Fast-forward to 2024 and the band have 2 sparkling UK tours under their belt, selling out 9 headline shows (including London's Camden Assembly & Manchester's YES Pink Room) and receiving some meaty airtime on BBC Radio 6. They added Y Not main stage and Tramlines performance to their summer itinerary in 2023 along with Truck Festival, having won the Band App vote to play. Winning votes came from So Young Magazine and John Kennedy of Radio X.
After spending winter on tour with the Lottery Winners, the band's busy 2024 festival season included their Glastonbury Festival debut on the renowned Avalon Stage. Coupled with winning the 2024 Cambridge Folk Festival Christian Raphael Prize, the band are currently releasing their third EP 'Honeylove' with industry ears primed to hear what this unstoppable band has next to offer. Catch them live this December on their 9-date UK tour, for fans of: Haim and boygenius.
